|---|---|

| Spring 2 | Water crops, forage, start gifting villagers, free Inn meal |
| Spring 3 | Caldarus statue unlocks — spend early Essence on cheap perks |
| Spring 4 | Complete Luke’s quest → Bug Net; catch insects for the Museum |
| Spring 5 | Buy the Fishing Rod (500t) at the Beach; fish for income |
| Spring 6 | “Re-opening The Mines” quest; complete “Do Bro a Favor” → Pickaxe |
| Spring 7 | First short mine run; begin Copper tool upgrade |
Day 1: the tutorial
Celine gives you the Worn Hoe and Hayden gives the Worn Watering Can on Spring 1. Till soil, plant the starter seeds, water them, and start talking to villagers.
Day 2–3: establish the loop
- Water crops first every morning.
- Check the quest board — accept everything (no time limits).
- Forage daily — wild plants sell, gift, and fill Museum sets.
- Eat the free daily meal at the Sleeping Dragon Inn for stamina.
On day 3, Caldarus’s statue becomes active. Spend your first Essence on a cheap early perk — stamina refunds are the best early picks.
Day 4: bug net
Complete Luke’s quest to get the Bug Net. Catch every insect you see — the Museum’s Insects wing needs 5 per set.
Day 5: fishing rod
Buy the Worn Fishing Rod from Taria’s Tackle Shop on the Beach for 500 Tesserae. Fish in the river, pond, and ocean; donate first, sell the duplicates.
Day 6: mines unlock
The “Re-opening The Mines” quest starts, requiring Stone Town Rank. Complete “Do Bro a Favor” for a Pickaxe before you descend. Bring food for stamina.
Day 7: first mine run
Keep it short and resource-focused. Mine rocks, grab ores and gems, fight a few monsters, and use the elevator at floor 5. Save ore for your first Copper tool upgrade at the anvil.
Week-one mistakes to avoid
- Over-committing — focus on 2–3 goals per day; don’t chase every system at once.
- Skipping daily watering — crops wither without water.
- Selling Museum items — donate before you sell; sets reward real bonuses.
- Rushing deep mines — until your farm loop is stable, short runs win.
- Ignoring the Inn meal — free stamina every day is free progress.
