Why gifts matter
Gifting is the fastest way to raise Heart points with any villager. Loved gifts give the biggest boost, liked gifts give a smaller one, and disliked gifts can hurt the relationship. Gifting on a villager’s birthday gives a big extra boost.
Gift rules
- One gift per day per villager.
- Loved > Liked > Neutral > Disliked. Learn each villager’s tastes through dialogue and by gifting.
- Birthday gifts matter most — save a loved gift for the birthday.
- You can buy many easy gifts from Darcy at the Saturday market.

- The full loved/liked list per villager lives on the community wiki; use this guide for the romance candidates you’re actively courting.
Quick farming tips for gift items
- Plant spring flowers (Tulip, Daffodil) in bulk — cheap, fast, and giftable.
- Forage daily — Snowdrop Anemone, Heather, and Snapdragon cover three big candidates.
- Mine rubies in the upper mines — Balor and several villagers love gems.
- Save cooked dishes — cooking with the Inn pot uses storage ingredients directly thanks to the global inventory system.
